Donate
SAC is currently not registered as a nonprofit, but we welcome donations even though they are not tax-deductible. Donations to SAC go towards the material and shipping costs for the artists to send us their work from prison; fees for communicating with artists through e-messages or phone calls; purchasing frames and other ways to display the art; ordering prints and other SAC merchandise; other costs associated with putting up exhibits and shows; web and email hosting; and more. Learn more about how SAC works at our Logistics & Financial FAQ.
Work With Us
We are always open to new partnerships. Please email us at solidarityartcollective@gmail.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible, whether you are:
A business, museum, community space, or other venue that would like to host SAC artwork or exhibits
An organization with an idea on how to collaborate
A media outlet interested in sharing our story
An individual who wants to volunteer with SAC
…or someone interested in a different form of partnership!
Nominate An Artist
Do you know an artist facing some form of incarceration in Washington state - whether in prison, jail, juvenile detention, immigration detention, or a psychiatric facility - who might be interested in joining SAC? If so, email us at solidarityartcollective@gmail.com to share the following information:
The artist’s full legal name
The artist’s preferred name, if you know it
The facility where the artist is incarcerated
Their DOC number, if relevant, or any other information that would help to identify them
If the form of incarceration they’re experiencing means that it would be difficult for SAC to contact them directly, but you have a line of communication open with them, then please share your name, relationship to the artist, and contact information as well.
